It deserves a far better accounting than this author gives it. I still recommend this book for fans of cosmic Marvel, especially new converts who have been lured in by the phenomenal Annihilation stories (and their aftermaths, of which this is a part), but it's not the best work in the genre, and it's not a good place to start. Often imitated, never equaled, SPECTRUM 19 continues the freshness and excellence that was established seventeen years ago. TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Awards 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 winner in Favorite Travel Guide category'Lonely Planet guides are, quite simply, like no other. This was a pretty hilarious one when it comes to what all they go through but the characters to me just kind of fell flat. Even here, Nesbit values truth.
